    Serving in God's Kingdom is something I desire to do throughout my life. May the Lord prepare my heart to serve Him according to the purpose for which He created me. Help me Lord to be able to bring many to the Lord so that they may be saved and escape God's judgment which is imminent to those who have not yet received Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour. May I make an impact, helping others to study God's Word starting with my family, relatives, the community in which I live and the city in which I live, the nation, region and the world at large. May God help me to study God's Word to the glory of God and for the advancement of God's Kingdom.

    the five points for a ordinary church goer sound rather mundane.The deeper meaning and significance come when you deliberately with full heart start this.the meaning is spot on

    Increasingly I feel like this is what God is saying to me. Having served in various leadership roles and sometimes felt like I was really just ticking a box. I thank God for this season of rest from active leadership but intentional growth in spiritual heart matters. I feel like God told me stop and really focus on what’s most important, that’s heart work through prayer, personal Bible study, confession of personal sin, forgiveness and practical love for others. This is what God highlights in my life daily. A heart checklist. May He continue to work in my life so that am truly transformed from the inside out.

    BSF has enriched my study of God's Word. Although I do not have the years behind me as some with BSF, It is a privilege to be a part of. God's guidance for our lives is the single most important focus. Thank You for these reminders

    When we step back from Jesus, our self takes control of us, to avoid that we have to be in communion with Jesus always, through worship, prayer and scripture. Excellent thought provoking blog.

    How true we need to examine our heart, and remember the Lord uses only a clean vessel. Just like the the "Holiness to the Lord" shall be engraved on the bells of the horses. The pots in the Lord's house shall be like the bowls before the altar.

    Confessing sins both to God and to others bring spiritual and emotional relief, breaking the power of transgressions. True worship involves confessions and then praising God for His mercy. So happy you reminded us.

    Wow. this hit home today! I want to sit in the church and worship. But .worship can also be leading. Sounds simple, but what is it when you are called out of the worship time and asked to be a leader outside , as in a Sunday School class. The copout prayer could be, Lord raise up SOMEONE Else to step up to the plate. While this is one angle, It should be Lord, Let my heart yearn to worship you where the talents you've given me, are to bring you glory through the leading of teaching the littlest ones you have prepared to be in my little circle of influence. And may their little precious hearts be touched so they too can know you. If others want to join in, may your will be done. In your precious Son's name, Jesus. Amen!

    Thank you, BSF. It's been 10 years since I joined BSF, and that decision was the best thing in my life. I pray to God every day for the person who encouraged me to join. Our study this week on Nehemiah impacted me a great deal, especially his leadership in building the wall and gates of Jerusalem in 52 days. Through God, people can make wonders.

    Am also blessed to have joined BSF like 10years ago too, since then my life has really changed and God has been speaking to my everyday situations through the study, the peak of it all has been the book of Nehemiah where the story resembles what I go through in the office and God has been strengthening me to fullifill a mission in my office amidst many opposition.

    Can I lead if I am Catholic? I have lead before as a Catholic. Last time I was told I couldn’t be an OLG. I’ve been with BSF for 7-8 years, and I have no issues with any doctrinal statements.
